Cherryfields Children's Home is run by the Adedoyin Adefuye Foundation, founded in 2010. We provide shelter to abandoned, abused, orphaned and neglected children from birth onwards.
We provide a safe haven for these vulnerable children who are referred to us by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). Cherryfields Children's Home opened in January 2021.

To ensure that every vulnerable Nigerian child is protected and supported to access basic needs such as a secure home, food, clothing, education, health care and freedom to enjoy a happy childhood.
To raise public awareness of child abuse through education, training programs, workshops and conferences to ensure the law is upheld in relation to the rights of children.
To eliminate human rights abuse and promote Girl Child Education in Nigeria, building healthy individuals with skills to support themselves and avoid poverty and exploitation.
To provide refuge for abandoned and vulnerable children and work closely with the appropriate Government departments to ensure children are placed with credible families.

This precious gift means stable, uninterrupted power for our home โ light for our children to study, power to preserve food, comfort and safety through the night. At just one month old, one of our twin boys became very sick. He was so pale, so weak, and couldn't feed. We rushed him to the hospital and the doctors said he urgently needed a blood transfusion to live. But they needed fresh blood, and finding a matching donor that quickly was not easy.
