The home is in a village in the outskirts of Asokoro, Abuja FCT. There is an acute shortage of electricity in the village and it is affecting the welfare and wellbeing of the children as we are having to resort to lamps.

The children are unable to make use of their electrical gadgets such as computers, games and television. At night it gets really hot and uncomfortable because of lack of electricity to power cooling fans, and we are unable to store food in a fridge/freezer.
